# LotsInvoice > Professional invoicing for agencies, freelancers and small businesses. Invoices you can send with confidence. Set up your business once: your logo, layout, taxes and item codes. Every invoice after that comes out exact. You check it in a preview of the real PDF, send it when you are ready, and LotsInvoice follows up until you are paid. - Totals calculated to the cent - Preview is the PDF your client gets - Numbers locked once sent - You choose how you are paid ## Official links - Website: https://lotsinvoice.com/ - Pricing: https://lotsinvoice.com/pricing - Sign up or sign in: https://lotsinvoice.com/app - AI assistants (optional): https://lotsinvoice.com/mcp - Skill for agents: https://lotsinvoice.com/skill.md - MCP server: https://api.lotsinvoice.com/mcp - API docs: https://api.lotsinvoice.com/docs.md - API keys: https://www.lotstech.com/api - Blog: https://lotsinvoice.com/blog - Support, feature requests and changelog: https://support.lotsinvoice.com - Short version of this file: https://lotsinvoice.com/llms.txt ## Principles - Nothing goes out unchecked: Every invoice starts as a draft. You see the finished PDF before you send, and you decide when it goes. - Exact, every time: Quantities, discounts, several taxes per line, rounding: calculated on our side to the cent, the same in the preview, the PDF and the reports. - A record you can trust: Sent invoices are numbered and locked. Changes are revisions with a reason or a credit note, so your history always adds up. ## Invoices that fit how you bill - Products with state and county tax: Several named tax components on one line, a PO number, ship-to address and shipping. - Simple and clean for client work: Hours and rate columns, your payment link and Zelle, notes and terms. Ready in a minute. - VAT numbers and reverse charge: VAT numbers for both parties, out-of-scope lines with a reason, local date and number formats. ## International options - GST (India): Tax invoices with HSN/SAC codes. CGST and SGST or IGST, item codes on every line, a code-wise tax summary and the amount in words. - Export (India): Foreign currency, with a declaration. Bill in your client’s currency, show the total in yours at a stated rate, and print the declaration you need. ## How it works 1. Set up once: Add your business, logo and colors. Pick a design, your columns, taxes and numbering, and how clients can pay you. 2. Create and check: Pick a customer, add lines from your saved items and watch the real PDF update next to the form. Totals are exact. 3. Send when ready: It goes from your business name with the PDF attached and a private link to your client portal. Replies come to you. 4. Get paid: Reminders follow up on your schedule and stop when it is paid. Record payments and see who owes what at a glance. ## Designs Nine designs. Your logo, colors and font. Classic, Modern, Studio, Executive, Ledger, Minimal, Bold, Compact, Formal. ## Payments Paid the way you already get paid. - Stripe Payment Link - PayPal - Square - Bank transfer - ACH - Zelle - Venmo - Check by mail LotsInvoice never holds or moves your money. Invoices show the payment options you already use, such as a Stripe Payment Link, PayPal, bank details, Zelle or a mailing address for checks, and you record payments when they arrive. ## Also included - Estimates: Send a quote, let the client accept it with a typed name, then turn it into an invoice in one click. - Recurring invoices: Retainers that repeat weekly, monthly or yearly, as drafts to review or sent on schedule. - Credit notes and revisions: Correct a sent invoice with a revision and a reason, or issue a credit note against it. - Customers and items: Saved customers with their own terms, currency and tax IDs, and a catalog of items and rates. - Any currency: Invoice each client in their currency, with the right symbols and decimal places. - Reports: Who owes what, revenue, tax collected and payments received, with CSV export for your accountant. - Team access: Invite a bookkeeper or partner to a business, with the role that fits. - Import and export: Bring customers and items in from a CSV, and export all your data whenever you want. ## Pricing Pay per business. Everything inside is unlimited. - Starter (1 business): $12.00/month or $120.00/year. More businesses at $12.00/month each from credits. - Pro (5 businesses): $29.00/month or $290.00/year. No plan needed: each business uses 15,000 LotsTech Credits a month ($15.00), charged a little each day. Purchased credits never expire and work in every Lots product. - Free to start. New accounts get 15,000 free credits, valid 90 days. No card needed. Every plan includes: - Unlimited invoices, estimates and credit notes - Unlimited customers, items and templates - Client portal and reminders - Unlimited team members ### What counts as a business? One company or trading name you invoice from, with its own logo, numbering, customers and settings. A freelancer usually has one. ### Is anything limited inside a business? No. Invoices, estimates, credit notes, customers, items, templates, reminders and team members are unlimited. ### What happens if I stop paying? Your documents, PDFs and client portal links keep working and you can export everything. Creating and sending new documents needs a funded business. ### Do you take a cut of my payments? No. LotsInvoice never holds or moves your money; clients pay you directly with the options you choose. ## AI assistants (optional) Once your business is set up in the dashboard, you can let Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or another assistant work with it too: draft an invoice from a sentence, check who owes you, record a payment. It uses your customers, items and layout, and asks you before anything is sent. Everything it does shows up in your dashboard. MCP server: https://api.lotsinvoice.com/mcp (remote MCP with OAuth: sign in with your Lots account, no key needed). Setup: https://lotsinvoice.com/mcp Example requests: - "Draft an invoice for Acme Design for 12 hours of design work at $95 an hour, due in 15 days. Show me the total first." - "Which invoices are overdue? Draft a friendly reminder for anything more than a week late." - "Turn the estimate for Northwind into an invoice and set it to repeat on the 1st of every month." ### Claude (claude.ai and desktop) 1. Small agencies, freelancers, consultants and small service businesses who invoice their own clients regularly and want invoices that look right and add up, without an accounting suite. ### Can I make the invoice look the way my client or accountant wants? Yes. Rename, reorder, hide or add columns, add item or accounting codes, custom fields, registration IDs, several taxes per line, declarations and a signature. Choose one of nine designs, or a custom template. ### Does LotsInvoice take payments? LotsInvoice never holds or moves your money. Invoices show the payment options you already use, such as a Stripe Payment Link, PayPal, bank details, Zelle or a mailing address for checks, and you record payments when they arrive. ### Can I use my own tax rates? Yes. Taxes are yours to set: one or several named components per line, compound or inclusive. Presets for common setups are a starting point to check with your accountant; LotsInvoice does not give tax advice or certify any document. ### What happens after I send an invoice? Your client gets an email from your business name with the PDF and a private portal link. You see when they open it, reminders follow up on your schedule, and you record the payment when it arrives. ### How is it priced? You pay per business you invoice from. Inside a business, invoices, estimates, customers, items, templates and team members are unlimited. New accounts start with free signup credits. ### Can I use it from an AI assistant? Yes, if you want to. Once your business is set up, Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants can draft invoices from your setup and ask you before anything is sent. The dashboard is where you check everything. ## Company LotsInvoice is by LotsTech (https://www.lotstech.com). Privacy: https://www.lotstech.com/privacy-policy.
