LotsInvoice

Use LotsInvoice from your AI assistant

Once your business is set up in LotsInvoice, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex and other assistants can draft invoices from a sentence, check who owes you and record payments. Your customers, items and layout stay the same, and everything shows up in your dashboard. Copy the setup prompt, copy the MCP URL, or choose your assistant below.

LotsInvoice is a remote MCP server over streamable HTTP. Clients that support OAuth discover sign-in on their own from the URL above. Clients that only accept a header can use an API key from the LotsTech API page, sent as Authorization: Bearer <key>. The same tools are available as REST endpoints; read the API docs.

Get your agent connected: questions

How do I get my AI agent to use LotsInvoice?

Give your agent https://lotsinvoice.com/skill.md and ask it to help connect LotsInvoice for you. It explains how to add the MCP server or use the REST API in your environment. Prefer to do it yourself? Copy the MCP URL https://api.lotsinvoice.com/mcp and follow your agent’s guide.

Does LotsInvoice work with my agent?

Agents with remote streamable HTTP MCP support can use https://api.lotsinvoice.com/mcp. Agents with HTTP or computer access can use the REST API with an API key. There are guides for ChatGPT, OpenAI dots, Claude, Claude Cowork, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, Grok Bot, Grok Build, DeepSeek, Kimi K3, Muse, Manus, Cue, Perplexity Computer, nanoclaw, Paperclip. Some clients need a particular plan or administrator permission, and a listing is not a guarantee that every version or plan supports connections.

Do I need to install a skill or configure MCP myself?

The setup instructions are a Markdown document you can give your agent by URL. They do not automatically install a connector or authorize access. Ask your agent to guide you through the steps for its environment, or add the remote MCP server yourself.

How do I sign in to LotsInvoice from my agent?

OAuth-capable MCP clients open a LotsInvoice sign-in during setup. Clients that use bearer credentials and REST integrations need an API key from https://www.lotstech.com/api. Never paste your passwords into a chat.

What does LotsInvoice cost?

Current plans and prices are on https://lotsinvoice.com/pricing. Your agent’s own plan or usage fees are separate.

Will my agent email my customers without asking me?

Every invoice starts as a draft, and nothing reaches your customer until it is sent. Sending is its own step, and the LotsInvoice tools and skill tell your agent to show you the totals and ask before it sends. You can also open the draft in your dashboard first.

Does LotsInvoice take or move money through my agent?

No. LotsInvoice never holds or moves your money. Your customers pay you directly with the payment options you set up, and your agent can record a payment once you have received it.

Can my agent change an invoice I already sent?

A sent invoice is locked with its number. Your agent can revise it with a reason, which keeps the number and adds a version, or void it. A paid invoice is corrected with a credit note.

Does my agent choose my tax rates?

No. It uses the taxes you have set up or the rates you give it, and it asks for anything that is missing. Check your layout and tax wording with your accountant.
